This lady has lost one eye permanently, because the 香港警察 Hong Kong Police aimed for the head when using Bean bag rounds.

According to the Geneva Guidelines on Less-Lethal Weapons and Related Equipment in Law Enforcement:

"8.5.2 Kinetic impact projectiles should generally only be used in direct fire against the lower
body of a violent individual when a substantial risk exists of immediate serious injury to
either a law enforcement official or a member of the public. They are often used to
support operations where firearms are deployed and an accurate less-lethal option with
an extended range may reduce the likelihood of lethal weapons being used."

The same document under the UNLAWFUL USE section states:

"8.5.6 Kinetic impact projectiles shall not be targeted against the head."

This is not the first time 香港警察 Hong Kong Police abused its power and used excessive force against the protesters. Yet the Hong Kong Government refused to set up an independent inquiry committee to investigate and hold the involved polices accountable to their actions.

To all my friends on Facebook:

Please pay close attention to the situation in Hong Kong, because Hong Kong is the ONLY place in China that still has Freedom of Press and Freedom of Speech. By looking at how the Hong Kong Government is treating its citizens and even foreigners, you will have a glimpse of the methods Chinese Government uses to suppress its own people. Please note that this is only the tip of the iceberg.

In the long run, China will not let Hong Kong go. To China, Hong Kong is a Trojan Horse to the Chinese Communist Party's rule. China will use all means necessary to diminish the freedom of Hong Kong. After Hong Kong, it is likely that the next country will be Taiwan. Looking at the attitudes of China when approaching diplomatic disputes with other neighbouring countries, China won't stop until it has established its dominance in Asia. This make the recent turmoils in Hong Kong even more important.

Use Hong Kong as a material to prepare yourselves against the dominance of China. Learn from the incidents in Hong Kong, study the methods of the Chinese government.

If none of the above happened, then thank god, and use Hong Kong for your research paper or as a reference to study other authoritarian government.

If Hong Kong fell, and China is asserting its dominance over your country, you know what is coming at you.

香港需要人道救援

香港已進入沒有宣戰的戰爭狀態，由中共入侵香港而引發的香港保衛戰。中共控制的香港軍閥（警察），持續犯下戰爭罪行，連番製造人道災難。同時，他們又阻擋醫護人員施救，包括拘捕控告醫護人員、禁止傷者登上救護車、偷取醫院病人資料。

加上香港公營醫院被削減資源，香港人現已失去基本的醫療救援。特別是吸入毒氣後的施救，不足以應付戰爭狀態。就昨日，警方在大圍港鐵站附近，釋放致命份量的毒氣，車站和車箱內的幼童與長者吸入後，竟然需要由途人協助救緩。當中，因為急症室輪候時間太長，極少數人尋求公營醫療協助。

除此之外，政府發動的黑幫恐襲（state terrorism）頻繁。當中的傷者，因着恐懼被埋伏在醫院的警察濫捕，而拒絕求醫。使香港人失去基本的醫療保障。

當下，香港極需要不受滋擾的中立醫療團隊。我們需要無國界醫生、聯合國維和部隊，以及其他人道救援組織。只有他們可以為香港提供正常醫療保障，免於中共香港警察滋擾。以下這個聯署，是要求美國派遣醫療船以提供中立的醫療服務。美國醫療船扺達後，其他國際醫療組織就更易來港協助，以減低香港人在今次戰爭的傷亡。

這是十分實際的要求，也是極為急切和重要。為免香港發生大規模人道災難，請各位簽署並廣傳！
