Eczema and psoriasis can often be confused by those who self-diagnose their skin condition. But Dermatologist Dr Mary Sommerlad explains a way in which they can be differentiated:
“Psoriasis is usually very clearly marked as you can see the redness or purple pigmentation, and you are able to use your fingers to trace where your psoriasis starts and ends. On the other hand, eczema usually looks more red and patchy with less clearly defined lines of demarcation”.
